The deadline is fast approaching for submissions of short films.

Ok Ok, this isn’t a stereo 3D festival however its still a great opportunity and well worth the mention. As you probably know, the Encounters International Film Festival is the UK’s longest running competitive short film and animation festival and takes place 16-20 November 2011. If you want to be a part of this amazing showcase, meet some great emerging talent and possibly win an award follow the link http://www.encounters-festival.org.uk/submissions.html

We noticed these amazing entries from last years awards: Pixels by Patrick Jeans, who just won a short film award at Annecy, Out Of A Forest, an awesome stop motion video by Tobias Gundorff Boesen & Storm, the official animated movie of Tim Minchin’s humorous 9-minute poem

Have a look at the some of the above examples. You can submit films from every genre: animation, live action drama, documentary, experimental and music video. Thursday 30th June 2011 is the deadline, so get submitting !
